New Unified Search
You can now use incident tags to search and filter in the BigPanda UI and Incident V2 API.
Incident tags and some incident metadata are now available for search and filter functionality across the platform. Incident tags add vital context for triage, collaboration, and resolution. In addition to adding insight for your team and driving automation, incident tags are also now available to filter the incident feed, API results, and Unified Search.
With this release, environments leveraging incident tags will have full search, preview, and filter functionality.
Search Using Incident Tags
You can now use incident tags to search or define conditions in the BigPanda UI or Incidents V2 API. Incident tag search can be used in the following locations:
- Incident feed search
- Environments Filter
- Edit an Environment screen
- Unified Search
- Incident Enrichment
Incident Tag ID
To search or define BPQL conditions using incident tags, you need to use the Incident Tag ID rather than the incident tag name.
To see the incident tag ID, click an incident tag name in Query Assist. The tag ID is then populated in the search bar or input field. You can also find the Incident Tag ID on the Settings > Incident Enrichment screen in the incident tag details pane.
To search using an incident tag, the tag ID must be preceded by incident
. (For example, incident.runbook
)
