Adaptive Memory (IA)
Adaptive Memory is where you review and manage everything Biggy has learned about your organization. It holds the durable facts and operational procedures that Biggy builds over time from your conversations and investigations, and every item is traced back to its source. Use Adaptive Memory to see what Biggy knows, correct anything that has changed, and set the standing conventions you want Biggy to follow.
Adaptive Memory is available in the web app at Manage > Knowledge & Data > Adaptive Memory.
Key features
Search across facts, entities, and relationships, and filter the feed by relationship type.
See where Biggy's knowledge is concentrated with the knowledge summary and Most connected entities panel.
Review the operational procedures Biggy has learned, including insights to follow and traumas to avoid.
Set standing Response Preferences that Biggy always follows for your organization or for a specific team.
Edit the wording of any fact, or remove facts that are no longer accurate.
Adaptive Memory page
Adaptive Memory organizes what Biggy knows into three tabs: Facts, Procedures, and Response Preferences. Each tab shows a count of the items it currently holds.
The page opens on the Facts tab.
Facts
The Facts tab shows the durable facts Biggy has learned. These are current-truth relationships extracted from conversations and investigations. Each fact is presented as a card that includes:
Relationship: The source entity, the relationship type, and the target entity, shown as
Entity > RELATIONSHIP > Entity. For example,Create ServiceNow Incident > DEPENDS_ON > ServiceNow.Plain-language summary: A human-readable sentence that explains the relationship in context.
Supported by: The number of sources that support the fact.
Learned date: The date Biggy recorded the fact.
Current facts only
The feed shows current-truth facts. Superseded and retired facts are not displayed, so you always see Biggy's latest understanding.
Search and filter facts
Use the search box at the top of the feed to search across facts, entities, and relationships. As you refine the feed, Biggy shows how many facts match, for example "Showing 23 of 50+ loaded facts."
Below the search box, relationship-type filters let you narrow the feed to a single type of relationship, such as DEPENDS_ON or HAS_ROLE. Each filter shows how many facts use that relationship. Select More to see additional relationship types, and select Clear to remove all active filters and return to the full feed.
Facts load in batches. When more facts are available than are currently loaded, select Load more at the bottom of the feed to load and search older facts.
Filter from knowledge summary
To focus the feed on a specific entity, select that entity in the Most connected entities panel instead of typing a search.
Knowledge summary
On the top right side of the Facts tab, the knowledge summary shows how much Biggy has learned and where that knowledge is concentrated.
At the top, a set of counts summarizes Biggy's memory across three categories:
Facts: Durable, current-truth relationships Biggy has learned.
Procedures: Operational how-tos Biggy has captured. See Procedures.
Traumas: Negative lessons Biggy has learned to avoid.
A short trend indicator shows recent change, such as how many facts were added this week and whether the total is stable, rising, or falling.
Below the counts, the Most connected entities list shows the entities that appear in the most facts, along with a count for each. This highlights where Biggy's knowledge is concentrated. Select an entity to filter the feed to facts that involve it.
Edit a fact
You can correct the wording of a fact without changing the underlying relationship.
Editing rewrites the human-readable fact text only. The related entities and their relationships remain unchanged.
Locate the fact in the feed.
Select the edit icon for that fact. The Edit fact page opens.
Update the text in the Fact field. The related entities and relationship shown beneath the field, such as
Create ServiceNow Incident > ServiceNow (DEPENDS_ON), stay the same.Select Save to apply your change, or Cancel to discard it.
Remove a fact
To remove a fact that is no longer accurate, select the delete icon for that fact in the feed.
Procedures
The Procedures tab shows the learned procedures Biggy has captured from agent experience. Procedures are operational how-tos made up of insights to follow and problems to avoid, so Biggy can apply what your team has already worked through to future situations.
When Biggy has not yet captured any procedures, the tab shows No procedures learned yet. Procedures appear here automatically as Biggy learns them.
Response Preferences
The Response Preferences tab holds the standing conventions and response instructions Biggy follows for your organization. Use it to add org-stated conventions and formatting instructions Biggy should always follow, for example "summarize incidents in our standard incident-report format," "never auto-page the database team for SEV3," or "we call the primary cluster the edge cluster."
Unlike facts and procedures, which Biggy learns on its own, response preferences are instructions you state directly.
Be specific
Response preferences are org-stated instructions, distinct from what Biggy learns on its own. Keep each one short, specific, and actionable.
Turn Response Preferences on or off
Use the Enable toggle at the top right of the tab to turn Response Preferences on or off for your organization. When the toggle is off, Biggy does not apply your saved preferences.
Add a preference
Select Add preference. A new preference row appears.
In the text field, enter the instruction you want Biggy to follow. (For example,
Always include a Recommended Next Steps section in incident summaries.)In the scope menu, choose where the preference applies. Leave it set to Org-wide to apply the preference across your organization, or scope it to a specific team so only members of that team get it.
Confirm the Active toggle is on so Biggy applies the preference.
Select Save.
To remove a preference, select the delete icon on its row.
