Reviewing incidents with similar characteristics can help you understand recurring issues and accelerate the resolution process. However, with the large number of incidents organizations encounter, identifying trends or recurring issues can be a difficult and time-consuming process.
The Problem Identification dashboard clusters historic similar incidents to help identify recurring issues, then uses AI to summarize each cluster. This can help you determine how to prioritize specific clusters based on frequency or impact and find potential root causes of recurring issues based on similarities or find potential candidates for automation.
By addressing root causes and minimizing repetitive incidents, the dashboard enhances team performance and ensures consistent operational reliability in complex IT environments.
Key Features
Identify types of recurring issues and find ways to resolve them.
Find trends of problems in specific applications.
View clusters of similar incidents over a specified time period.
Widgets
The following widgets are available in the Problem Identification dashboard:
Widget | Description |
---|---|
Number of Clusters | The number of similar incident clusters. |
Number of Incidents | The total number of unique incidents, based on incident ID. |
Dashboard Variation and Refresh | Displays information about the last time the clusters were refreshed. |
Cluster Map | A visual display of the similar incident clusters. Each incident cluster is assigned a system-generated cluster ID. |
Cluster Details | Displays information about each of the incident clusters. The following information is displayed:

Cluster Summary | Displays an AI-generated title and summary of each incident cluster. |
Cluster Incidents | Displays information about each incident. The following information is displayed:
