API & MCP Usage

Monitor every call that reaches Biggy from outside its own apps with the API & MCP Usage page. Use the page to see how your organization uses REST API keys, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agent2Agent (A2A). You can track call volume over time, see which users and agents send the most calls, check reliability, and inspect individual call details.

The API & MCP Usage page is available in the web app at Operate > Insights > API & MCP Usage.

Filter the page

Use the controls at the top of the page to change the data shown in every section.

  •  Call type: In the upper-right corner of the page, select All, Agentic, or Standard to show all calls or only one type of call.

  •  Time range: Next to the call type selector, open the time range drop-down menu and select a time period. The default is Last 3 Months.

  •  Source: Below the page header, select a source chip to show calls from a single source, such as REST API or Assistant API. Select All sources to show calls from every source. Each chip shows the number of calls from that source in the selected time range.

Summary metrics

The summary cards at the top of the page show key usage metrics for the selected filters.

Card

Description

Total calls

Number of calls that reached Biggy in the selected time range, with a breakdown of agentic and standard calls.

Agentic turns

Number of agentic calls, and the percentage of all calls they represent.

People & connections

Number of people and machine connections that sent calls. The card also shows the most active person or connection and their number of calls.

Reliability

Percentage of calls that succeeded, the number of failed calls, and the median response time.

Daily calls

The Daily calls chart shows the number of calls per day over the selected time range. Each bar stacks agentic and standard calls to show the daily total.

To change how the chart groups calls, in the upper-right corner of the chart, select an option next to Stack by:

  •  Band: Groups calls by type (Agentic or Standard).

  •  Source: Groups calls by source, such as REST API or Assistant API.

Hover over a bar to view the number of calls for that day.

Below the chart, summaries show:

  •  Agentic: Number of agentic calls and their percentage of all calls.

  •  Standard: Number of standard calls and their percentage of all calls.

  •  Busiest Day: Highest number of calls in a single day, and the date it occurred.

Usage breakdowns

Three ranked lists below the Daily calls chart show where calls come from. Each list shows the number of calls for each item and its percentage of all calls in the selected time range.

  • By person: Calls per person or machine connection.

  • By credential: Calls per API key or AI client connection. Calls without an associated credential appear as Not recorded.

  • By source: Calls per source, such as REST API, MCP client, or A2A agent.

Calls table

The Calls table lists every call in the selected time range, with the newest calls first.

Use the filters above the Calls table to narrow the list of calls:

  • Person: Select a person or machine connection. The default is All people.

  • Activity: Select an activity type. The default is All activities.

  • Credential: Select an API key or AI client connection. The default is All credentials.

To the right of the filters, the call counter shows the number of calls that match the current filters.

In the upper-right corner of the Calls table, click Export CSV to download the calls as a .csv file.

The following information is available in the table:
